PDF Drawing to SolidWorks

PDF Drawing to SolidWorks

PDF Drawing to SolidWorks

(OP)
I have a drawing in PDF format which I want bring into SolidWorks 2008 Drawing.
I tried several methods:
1. Take snap shot of the drawing from PDF and paste it into SolidWorks Drawing sheet
2. Create JPEG/Bitmap/PNG etc and insert picture in SolidWorks sheet
3. Print the PDF file as Tif image and take into SolidWorks (this is not being recognized by SolidWorks)
4. Insert PDF file as object in SolidWorks sheet
By following all methods the image I get is not a clear one. The PDF has a very clear image and even on zooming it shows clear details & annotations but in SolidWorks the image is blurred and I get a hazy picture.
Is there any method by which I can get the PDF data with good clarity into SolidWorks?
This is a circuit diagram and drawing the same in SolidWorks will not work out for me.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
RKam

RE: PDF Drawing to SolidWorks

Adobe Illustrator can open native PDF and export to DXF.  Also try Ghostscript (available free).

RE: PDF Drawing to SolidWorks

SW08 can also import Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files.

cheers
