Specification or RFQ you could share?

Specification or RFQ you could share?

(OP)
Does anyone have a job specification or RFQ they used when requesting bids for a new air compressor for your manufacturing facility?  I'm in a new position as facilities engineer and my predecessor had received bids but never really sent out a detailed specification.  I want to make sure I'm comparing apples to apples and would appreciate an example I could start from.

Thanks,

Dave

RE: Specification or RFQ you could share?

How about contacting your company purchasing department and inquiring within.  Yes, I would question bids without an RFQ including specs, process data, etc.

I will gladly furnish an air compressor bid tab upon request.  might be 24-hours before i visit this site again.

good luck!
