Maybe I have lost my google search mojo.

I am looking for sources to purchase ~ 1 kw ac 120 volt generator, not a genset.

I already have a shaft which spins at 3600 rpm and can spare ~ 2 hp to run the generator.

I am having no luck finding a source for just the generator head which I can mount to this spinning shaft.

Who makes all of the generators for the multitude of gensets out there?

Any help

RE: 1 kw 120v ac generator mfg source

I got one of the 10kW versions here:

Whatch these clowns though as I generally hate doing business with them.  They will take your order then weeks later when you ask them where the %&*^&%$% is my item?  They will say, "Oh yeah it was on a 2 month lead time so we canceled your order."

So ask specific questions like is it in stock?  Have you shipped mine?

You can use this 3kW unit at 2kW.  Just limit consumption with the appropriate circuit breaker.

If you want to search further, good luck, as these things are not common.   You actually need a "two bearing" generator.
