Pavement Design Worksheets

Pavement Design Worksheets

Pavement Design Worksheets

(OP)
Does anyone know of where I can find some good worksheets for collecting & organizing for essential data involved in pavement design. Worksheets for traffic data, soil profiles, nomograghs, etc.

Thanks

RE: Pavement Design Worksheets

Try state DOT's - if they have been developing the source data for advanced Mechanistic-Empirical (M-E) design, which should now be rapidly accelerating as it can save significant amounts of asphaltic material by more closely understanding the elastic vs. viscous responses of PG+ polymer modified binder. This tightens up variability so safety factors are typically increased for the same pavement sections.

If that's not what you're looking for, it's an extension thereof, and should be strongly considered in terms of cost effectiveness of flexible vs. rigid pavements.

RE: Pavement Design Worksheets

corp of engineers might have what you're looking for even if it's not in an electronic worksheet format. there's several links to pavement related manuals. i've seen electronic worksheets somewhere but don't recall exactly (probably local dot website as lcruiser mentions).
