Metering dilema.

Metering dilema.

Metering dilema.

(OP)
Has any one had problems with intermitent diagnostic codes with GE kV digital kWHr meters.
The meter in question is a 9S, 120/480 volt autoranging, CL20, on 120/208 volt service.
It is a three element meter for a Blondel solution.
CTs are 300:5 for a multiplier of 60.
We are getting intermitent diagnostic codes.
Codes, sometimes 1 code, sometimes 2 codes;
d1, Polarity, Crossphase, and Energy Flow Check
d5, Distortion DC current
Non-linear load created distortion
SCR and TRIAC motor controls
Switching power supplies
Reciprocating pumps
d8, High Neutral Current.
Wiring has been verified correct.
Comparing ammeter readings to Kh reading of the meter indicates 0.91 PF.
Meter and CTs have now been replaced.
The area is prone to lightning induced transients.
Any comments or direct experience?
