I have an application where I have a number of cast iron rods which have fractured.  I would like to bond these back together.  They are not carrying any significant loads.  Is there any way of bonding cast iron that is successful?

It is cheaper to get them recast,rather attempt to join by brazing .

Chocolates,men,coffee: are somethings liked better rich!!
