Need Low dp check valve for gas flow

Need Low dp check valve for gas flow

Need Low dp check valve for gas flow

(OP)
I have a gas discharging from a bag house fan into a vent line containing hot water vapor.  No problem normally, but if the system shuts down, 300 F moist air/water vapor comes back into the bag house, causing caking fouling out the bags.  Geometry makes a water seal a problem.

I have 6" wc dp allocated for cracking & frictional dp for 1500 cfm.

Who should I contact or kind of valve to evaluate

RE: Need Low dp check valve for gas flow

hollerg,

Suggest looking at Techno-chek dual flapper valve, as there were some in lightweight metal or plastic body designs. The Techno-chek product is now part of Cameron valves,

A tank vent valve might serve well in this application.

They are single direction and have a lightweight aluminum pallet.  Usual cracking pressure is 1/2 oz.  Higher pressues are achieved by weighting the pallet.

Among vendors you might consider: Groth, Varec, Protectoseal....
