Rotation of Sub-Assy within CatProduct Assy

(OP)
I need to rotate a sub-assembly within a main assy.
How do I get the compass to snap to a particular center
of rotation?
Thanks in advance

RE: Rotation of Sub-Assy within CatProduct Assy

Hi,

Drag the compass somewhere on your sub-assembly, select in the tree that sub-assembly, right click on the compass, click edit and write the position with what reference you want (see the picture attached).

Of course you have to find first which coordinates you need (eventually insert a point to take the coordinates or use something which is already created..)

Regards
Fernando
