Viewing angle on Dell precision 6300

(OP)
I am thinking of buying a Dell Precision 6300 for running Solidworks. I have read about the poor viewing angle. Has anyone got any comments on running solidworks on the latest spec Dell machine

RE: Viewing angle on Dell precision 6300

We bought a 6300 specifically for Solidworks and are very happy with it, and it has the True Life screen or whatever Dell's calling it. It's fast and stable (so far).

The views at the following sites don't look that bad. There appears to be some darkening/lightening visible though.

There is one reviewer who was not impressed though. See way down (second from bottom) at this link.
