people.

NX4.0.4.2 MP6

from Tceng I keep retrieving an Assembly specification in NX4 and the views are not correct for a part used ... in fact the model itself does not reflect the piece part. WAVE has been used and when I make the part - the displayed part - close and re-open -  all seems to correct itself in the assembly model.
I go back to the specification, update the views - the Xha does whatever it wants ( much editing again )...
please say this is user error, or a simple switch somewhere.  currently every time I open the drawing I end up editing xha .... crazy

hope the experts amongst you understand the dilema ..

RE: views not updating ....

Before opening specification file, in the Load Options, make sure "Load Interpart Data" is checked on  and you have selected "All Levels" from "Open Unloaded Parents" dropdown list.

Update views. If you still don't get then try this
In the specification file, MB3 the assembly->properties->In "Assembly" tab click "Display" button

Update views.
