Coal bin dust explosion

Coal bin dust explosion

Coal bin dust explosion

(OP)
I am analysing an existing coal bin for a cement factory for possible explosion. Where Can I find coal dust explosion data?

RE: Coal bin dust explosion

Here is a good starting point. There are several other organizations in Gov. that have or involved in mitigating coal dust explosions.

http://www.msha.gov/INDEXES/ALLDOC.idq?CiScope=%2F&CiMaxRecordsPerPage=10&TemplateName=query&CiSort=rank%5Bd%5D&HTMLQueryForm=query.htm&CiRestriction=coal+dust&x=20&y=8

Here is one of several firms involved in coal dust explosion suppression/prevention.

RE: Coal bin dust explosion

Forgot to add check with the insurance carrier where the bin is to be located as most have some pretty strict rules concerning combustible dust in general including coal dust.

RE: Coal bin dust explosion

How about "The Colorado School of Mines"?
