reload sheet format

reload sheet format

reload sheet format

(OP)
We have recently changed the title blocks but we would like to use some of the old design and drawings. I wrote a macro that replace the old sheet format with the new one and it works quite nicely except it doesn't update the drawing. After running the macro the user has to go to sheet properties and hit "reload the sheet format" button. How do I eliminate this step and reload the sheet format from the macro? I couldn't find any indication in SW API help. I'm using SW 2001 Plus SP2.

Thanks,

Andrew

RE: reload sheet format

Hi!
Try to use Ctrl + Q.
It can helps.

RE: reload sheet format

I just finihed a small project doing this manually for a couple of drawings. First I would right click the sheet name and select 'properties'. I found the quicker way was not to use the 'reload' pick, but select 'custom', then 'browse' for the correct new format. I actually just pasted the full path of the new format in after the first time I found it. Click to 'change the edited text' and the new format appears.
Maybe if you setup the macro this way it will work for you.
