Software Re: NX2 or NX4

Constraints: Parametric model

I am trying to figure out how to create a pattern (diamond) of cylinders on a cylidrical surface.  I would idealy like the cylinders normal to the surface, but that isn't a must have.

Question 1:  What is the easiest way in UG to do this?
Question 2:  Does UG (or will) UG have a feature similar to the "fill pattern" command in ProE WF2?

I appreciate the help.

RE: UG Pattern Questions

In drafting there is a Area Fill which will fill an area with a drafting pattern for thing like wood, liquids, earth, etc.
