What form do you use for RFQ'S?

What form do you use for RFQ'S?

What form do you use for RFQ'S?

(OP)
I'm a new Facilities/Project Engineer and am working on several new capital projects (boiler, compressor, chiller)

I want to provide the contractors with a good summary of the project requirements so I can compare apple to apple bids and to minimize miscommunication.

Can you please suggest a good format for completing a Request for Quotation?

Thanks,

Dave

RE: What form do you use for RFQ'S?

I was doing Facilities Engineering work a few years ago and had reasonable success with vendors.  Contact me through my website and I can send you some sample RFQs that I used.  They aren't anything very formal, just (I thought) good clear communication to the vendor of what I wanted and when I wanted it.  Project scope, work specs, drawings, deliverables, contract requirements, insurance requirements, etc.
