RE: B31.1 Allowable Miter fabrication in a Piping Run

If you are building your system for compliance with a specific code, you should state what code you are using.

Have you looked at B31.3 or B31.1 for the code compliance information you seek?
Have you read the applicable code for your piping system?
Is there an owner's standard that you need to comply with as well as a national standard?
What part of the code you have are you having problems understanding?

B31.3 and B31.1 are clear as to the limitations of mitered joints.
