Electric Steam Boilers

Electric Steam Boilers

(OP)
Hello,
I am looking to replace an electric steam boiler that developed oxygen pitting.  The boiler was manufacturered by Fulton however, I would like to find other reputable electric steam boiler manufacturers that would provide a quality boiler.  Does anybody have any experience with these boilers?  Could you recommend a manufacturer?  Anyone that I should be careful of?
Thanks for the help

Additional Info:
Boiler Specifications:

50 HP/500Kw
1.7 MBTU/HR
Max pressure 150 psig
Operating pressure ~135 psig
Steam Output:  1600 lb/hr

This is a skid mounted unit that comes with a blowdown separator, feedwater tank & pumps, and chemical feed system.

RE: Electric Steam Boilers

If the former boiler developed pitting then there could be a problem with make up water  and or water treatment.  How much makeup water is going into the boiler?  What kind of oxygen scavenger is in the water treatment? How often was the boiler water tested?  Was there an electrical neutral connected to the boiler?

If you don't address these issues then the new boiler may also be destroyed quickly.

You need another M on your heating rate, under the english system m means 1,000 not 1,000,000.

Sloflo,

Joesteam is right to recommend Sussman.  They make excellent boilers.  My company uses many boilers made by Reimers which are also really good.  Just for your info, we've also had very good luck with the Electrosteam units we used.
