Etabs Steel Gravity Interactive Design(Shear Wall as Lateral)

(OP)
I have an Etabs model(Canadian Code) with shear wall as lateral and steel framing(Pin-Pin connection) as gravity. After I design/check the steel members, I am able to go into the steel interactive design window. However,some of the beams are not active(wouldn't allow you to select them to get into the detail design screen).

Any tips on the problem?

first sory for my english
i had download the EDB file then i had made an analysis when the design of the steel frame had complete i had this message  33 steel frames whith auto select sections failed stress/capacity  do you want to select then?
i think that youmust change this auto seclect section that mins you must add somme frames to this auto select section or you do it manualy
juste a note  ;i think that  your structure have not a very cood dynamical comportement because i think thad we must have the firt modal dynamic as a translation then the second is the same ( translation) then the tird is tortional mode this is the ideal comportement fort any structure ( you must add somme chear wall)

I have just recently encountered this problem myself.  ETABS has more than more steel design module; a non-composite steel frame and composite steel frame.  More than likely, those beams are being treated as composite beams by ETABS.  In order to have the program design those beams, you must run the design/check for the composite steel framing.  Then you should be able to do the interactive design.  As a side note, you can manually set these beams to be designed with no shear studs if you want to design them as non-composite.  Hope this helps!!!
