What software is recommended for hydraulic design that will also do stocklisting/material takeoffs?  Does it work with AutoCad 2000?  Which one is best for the cost?
Thanks.

RE: Recommended software

Are you looking for the fire sprinkler design to be integrated with the calcs and stocklisting?  If so, AutoSprink is by far the best.  It does not technically require AutoCAD at all, but I would say that you will need to have AutoCAD for some cleanup and such on the drawings.

If you want a standalone stocklisting and calc program, HydraCAD is really good.  It is also a good drawing / calc / listing program,

Thanks.  That is what I wanted to know.
