1/4 npt fitting and nut needs to capture plastic housing wall

Hello - I have an application where I need to capture a .14" thick plastic wall (PVDF)with an NPT adapter and a 1/4 NPT nut. I do not know what torque to use as I do not want to compress the plastic wall causing plastic "creep". The joint also does not want to rotate as this will loosen the nut. The adapter has wrench flats on the outside to fasten to a device. The joint needs to be IP67 or better.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Try rubber or closed cel foam washers to limit crush and seal the threads
