dew point on dry and wet basis
dew point on dry and wet basis
(OP)
hi all,
My gas composition contains 90% CO2, 3% H2S and rest other HCs. I used simulator to predict dew point of this gas stream @ 90 psig. What's the difference between calculating on dry and wet basis? I understand that for dry basis it excludes the moisture. Wet basis analysis(I saturated gas stream) shows dew point of gas as same as operating temperature of the system. e.g. my system temperature is 150 F, and wet basis dew point shows the same temperature.
thanks

"Wet basis analysis(I saturated gas stream) shows dew point of gas as same as operating temperature of the system"
and think why it would be any thing else than the operating temperature.....
