Opening files from previous version in MathCAD14

Opening files from previous version in MathCAD14

(OP)
All my engineering files I have made over the years were done in MathCAD 7 (my company wouldn't spring for MathCAD, so I bought this version years ago). My new company uses MathCAD 14 and I am unable to open any of my files...anyone have an idea what I can do? PTC's site has proven no help for such an old version.

RE: Opening files from previous version in MathCAD14

If you still have M7,  You might be able to have M14 and M7 running side by side and copy/paste the stuff over.  There is some risk, because that's not guaranteed to not crash one or both programs.  M14 tends to be tolerant of M11 stuff being copied over, but M11 is not tolerant of the other direction.

Otherwise, you'll need need someone with M11 to translate.
