Select XM woes

Is anyone else having trouble with getting STAAD 2007 up and running with this new Select XM thingy?  We've had no end of trouble getting the right stuff from Bentley so that we can license our copies of STAAD.  What we have got seems unreasonably complicated to implement.  Is this SOP or have they just singled us out for torture?

RE: Select XM woes

I have Staad 2007 running on a select XM server.  We use Bentley's structural passport thingie.  Our IT guys needed a month or so to get it running well, but since then, no hiccups.

A month!  So it's not just my imagination that it's unreasonably complicated.  Unreal.

RE: Select XM woes

We are using their server for license verification/control instead of our own network server and got it done in an hour or two.
