remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

(OP)
I have been playing around with templates and formats, and i have somehow managed to turn on a leader linking ordinate dimensions... how might one turn this off?

RE: remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

Right-click dimension > Display Options > Jog.

RE: remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

Sounds like you have activated the ISO standard which uses the ugly 'chained' style of ordinate dimensions.
You may have to the ANSI standard.
Tools > Options > Document Properties > Detailing

RE: remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

I wanted to get rid of it too and couldn't find a way. I ended up writing a macro and assigned to a key and with a hit of that key I removed it in the active drawing.

RE: remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

On 2007 you can double click the 0 dimension and properties will pop up and then untick the chained dimension box.
2008 it seems to have disappeared as an option so I am looking for a way again. A single key it macro would be very good Can you share it

RE: remove "leaders" from ordinate dimensions?

The option is still there in 2008.

Re-select the ordinate dim (LMB or RMB) the dim properties appears on left of screen with tabs at top Value>Leader>Other.

Click Leader tab and you will see the option to uncheck the box against ordinate chain.
