RE: UG-NX-4 => how to create a Tool library (Tool database)?

Create the tool in UG and export to library. there is option in the tool defining dilaog box where you can export to tool library.

or

add the list of tools in the tool library dat file, in the same format

RE: UG-NX-4 => how to create a Tool library (Tool database)?

Another option is to create a template to load the tools all at once.

Create a carrier for each "set" and then add the tools as you described.

From the operation navigator select the carrier and select object - template setting - template

For the tools set the template setting to load with parent.

Save the file

Now in another file when you want to retrieve the tools select create tool and select browse and pick the part with the tools.  You will see the carriers on the create tool dialog.  When you pick on of the carrier "sets" all the tools will be loaded with the parent(template) object.
