Why is it when I bring in a part for a drawing, it brings in the threaded hole text.  Example, I have a plate with a a 10-24 tapped hole, and when I drag the drawing in it show the "#10-24 Tapped Hole".  How do I turn this feature off?

RE: Hole Callout Wizard

That is an option when you are inserting the hole into the model.  There is a list-box to select with thread callout or w/o thread callout.  You want to set it to "without."

Also (Ever since I downloaded the 2008 4.0 Upate), when I dimension circles it gives me a Radius dimension instead of a diameter.

I think its because on the drawing view the hole is on a slanted surface and I am viewing the "front" plane.  Is this the reason?

That did it JMarv, thanks alot for the tip!

RE: Hole Callout Wizard

As for the dia / radius thing: if the view is slanted you'll get "true R.XXX" but if the diameter edge is broken you'll get "R.XXX".

My SP4.0 works just like it always has.

I guess your right.

It is slanted and I am getting a "True" radius as supposed to just a radius.

I'm sure everything is working like it is suppose to.

Thanks for the help!!
