How do I move a mulit part model in relation to origin

How do I move a mulit part model in relation to origin

(OP)
I'm a beginner to SW but do love it. My problem is a I have a multi part model, and now when I come to drawings I can't get my model to sit square in my standard views? I guess  that my problem is that my model is not right in relation to the origin. How do I go about correcting this?  Sorry if this is an ignorant question.

RE: How do I move a mulit part model in relation to origin

"multi part model"... you mean assembly, right?  Sounds like when you are dropping the first part into an assembly it is not being fixed to the origin.  Check the relative positions/angles of the origin and main three planes of the first part and the assembly.
