(OP)
The mesh contained poor quality elements, or the process ran out of memory.

Does anyone else get this error when performing stress test on things like a frame? The part has trouble computing the mesh. The frame was an assembly, which I exported to mech desktop, made a union, and import back as a single part. I also tried making a derived part from the assembly within Inventor.

The FEA software doesn't seem to handle larger parts converted from assemblies.  Cosmos was able to do this size of analysis, so I'm just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong.

RE: process ran out of memory

I am sorry I can't don't know much about your problem, but i was wondering if you could tell me how you are performing stress tests.  This would help me greatly in my work.
