Please advice a software to cut large drawing files into smaller parts, what I can print on a smaller device and stick them together later to get the original sized drawing.
I have a 2000x300mm dwg to print, but the max size I can print is A1, no paper roll is attached to my plotter.
I know, it can be done even in MS Paint, but I do really hope there is a small utility or image manipulator software with a feature like that, and by using that I can save time compared to the MS Paint way.

TIA
Gabor

SPLOT (http://www.swplot.com/) is a plot file viewer that can do exactly what you describe with options for margins, overlaps, and drawing match frames.

Thank you! I'll check it out.

Some printer drivers can do it, with my Epson for example just select the Poster Printing option in Page Layout
