Cost Estimate

Cost Estimate

(OP)
Is there a "rule of thumb" for estimating the installation of a package AC unit complete w/ ductwork, stand alone tstat, etc.

I'm looking for a quick number so a $/ton would be best.

Thanks!

RE: Cost Estimate

I think RS Means' Construction Cost data have installed numbers, or at least you can assemble an installed cost.  The bigger the units, the harder they are to install and your installation equipment and labor costs will rise.  Not to mention the distance from your power source and the voltage will also impact your costs.
