Linear Shift Sensors for Bicycle

Linear Shift Sensors for Bicycle

(OP)
Hello,

I am developing software/hardware for bicycle shift sensors. These will be small, durable, inexpensive, linear sensors that I will manufacture mounting systems for. One for the front gears (about 2" travel) and one for the back gears. (about 4" travel).

Can someone please help me in choosing the right type of sensor. I've searched products at www.sensormag.com and looked in books but just haven't seen the right style sensor. Can someone please give me a model/type of sensor that may be useful within this scope of operation?

Appreciate you all.
