Hi,

I am using NX 4 and I would like to create a model of spring with variable pitch. How would you proceed with this?
Thanks
Vit

Thanks JOhn,

I havent used GRIP much clown but I have managed to do what I wanted, you can check the spring model, if you want...you only  have to set d1,d2 and spring length to get the spring...I found out, that when you create expression, you have to use 360 degrees instead of pi()...for example xt = rad*sin(360*t)
Regards
Vit
