Locking Spring Plunger

Locking Spring Plunger

Locking Spring Plunger

(OP)
I'm looking for a hand retractable spring plunger that locks in both the extended and retracted positions.  I've already checked with Southco, Vlier, JW Wincoa and a couple of others.  Does anyone know who makes such a thing?  Most of the plungers on the market can lock when retracted only.

Thanks!

RE: Locking Spring Plunger

If it locks in both positions, under what circumstance is the spring of any use?

That would make it a barrel bolt.

Search the web, there are a tonne of suppliers.

You're correct, a barrel bolt would fit the description I initially supplied.  In this application I don't really need to lock it when retracted.  The spring can hold it retracted.

I did find what I was looking for from United Bushing.

Thanks,
