Information on Terminal Boxes for Electric Motors

Information on Terminal Boxes for Electric Motors

(OP)
Hi,
somebody knows where can I find information about the clasification of terminal boxes for motors, the box that come mounted directly over the motor.
Thank you.

RE: Information on Terminal Boxes for Electric Motors

If you are asking about the integral motor connection box, the motor manufacturer should have that information available.  A motor marked for service in a certain Division/Class should also have a connection box rated for such service.  The installer would be responsible for connecting to the motor in an appropriate manner.
