Textures disappearing in assemblies

Textures disappearing in assemblies

Textures disappearing in assemblies

Anyone else have problems with a texture, applied to a face at the part level, dissappearing at the assembly level?  Specifically, if I make a extrude cut feature in the assembly, the texture on the part then disappears.  Even when the cut is on a different face, or different part, the texture disappears.
Anyone have a remedy??
Thanks in advance

RE: Textures disappearing in assemblies

Are you loading in lightweight mode?

Are there 'blue feathers' placed before the icons of parts in the FeatureManager design tree?

You are using 2007 right?
What I could think of is edit the texture in the Render manager tab. Or is it dissapearing there as well?
I recall that I had those issues once or twice with 2007.
I guess it costs some more time anyway.
Issues are resolved in 2008 though.

We're not using photoworks here.  I think this is a bug that needs to be reported to our VAR.
Thanks,
John
