(OP)
I've been working on several tanks lately and was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent, straight-forward book that deals with tanks and pressure vessels from a structural point of view.  Some of the books that I have seen, seem to be written from the mechanical point of view and are vague regarding structural analysis.  Thanks.

RE: References

If you are talking about pressure vessels, there is a reference that I use regularly when I as tasked with checking manufacturer's designs.  It is the Pressure Vessel Handbook published by the Pressure Vessel Handbook Publishing Inc. in Tulsa, OK.

It has nice treatment of design of tank walls, anchor plates, and overturning analysis.
