High pressure condensate temperature

High pressure condensate temperature

High pressure condensate temperature

(OP)
Just out of curiousity, may I know what is the temperature of a high pressure condensate (say 150psig). I would like to estimate the expansion of the condensate pipe handling the riser condensate drip of the 150 high pressure steam. I know that when the condensate passes thru the trap (if full pressure differential), it might reduce it to a 0psig condensate...but how does this whole thing work...plzzz

RE: High pressure condensate temperature

From the steam table...it should be 373F.

RE: High pressure condensate temperature

Gotta watch the "absolute" vs "gauge" pressures. 150 PSIG steam is 366*F.
