Drawing Dimensions RED in solidwork 2008
(OP)
Hi,
I have migrated from SW2007 to SW2008. Almost all my Sw2007 drawing dimensions are appearing RED. Any body here know why?
Appriciate your responses in adv.
Thanks

Just a thought as I have had a similar issue in the past where a logo that I inserted from autocad created a text layer in the drawing and the color was red. All text I inserted after that came in red. It took a little searching to figure it out.

Did someone change the color settings for driving, driven or dangling dimensions under tools/system options/colors? I have our standard for dangling set for the color red. This way I know when dimension links drop from the geometry of the model, and flags us to fix the dimensions

I checked my layer settings are default. There is no RED color assigned to any layer.
I even checked the color settings for Driving, driven , dangling, overdefined etc... they are default. Nothing assigned to red.
Its OK, this is not throwing me out though, but I was curious.

Here is what I saw:

Options> Colors> Color Scheme Settings>Annotations> Edit.
Check the slider & pickpoint under annotations, do not rely on the color box, as I did. Happened to several other machines also.
