This is an open-ended question. Are the steel cast parts subjected to heat treatment before use? This makes a huge difference in the responses to your OP.

How about the service condition,any machining,surface treatment ,finally quantity, size of the job and urgency..

Last week, I asked a customer to fabricate a gear box housing as the patterns were taking a long time to get ready. It took sometime for me to convince him,eventually he came around.

Chocolates,men,coffee: are somethings liked better rich!!
(noticed in a coffee shop)
