ESS Testing

I know there is a standard for ESS testing somewhere, but where can I find it?

RE: ESS Testing

I don't think there is one standard ESS plan.  It depends on your product's spec and what you want to accomplish.  Over all it will at least include Temp, Vib, and Shock.  You want to stress the product enough to weed out deffects, but not high enough to break it.

Thanks Twoballcane.

I think I have seen a MIL-STD or maybe it was a ICE. I think it gave some general recommendations for ESS testing like temp before vib, Vib levels depending on type of electronic equipment etc.
