Glass wool blanket used for deck insulation

Glass wool blanket used for deck insulation

(OP)
I am reviewing specification of wool blanket used for deck insulation in a cryogenic tank. My question is:
1. Wool blanket is specified with kraft paper on one side and aluminum facing on the other side. Is that common practice?
2. I know that kraft paper and aluminum facing may be of vapor barrier. What are differences between these two facing?
3. If three layer of 4" thick wool blanket to be used on a cold deck (-50 F), what are the sequences of the facing when placing them?
Thanks
