I am interested in calculating activity of water at high T. I found this formula: a= Yw*P/P(T), where
Yw= mole fraction of water
P= pressure
P(T)= vapor pressure of water as a function of T
and
log[P(T)]= -2.18 + 0.029(T-273.2) -......

Let's make it simple and say I have a pure water vapor at 1 atm, so Yw=1 and P=1. In that case aw>>>1. Does it make sense or I am missing something fundamental??
