RE: IBC- Building code

SK Ghosh and Associates teach most of the seismic design seminars I have been to.  They probably have detailed published guides available.  On their web page I quickly found this code guide to lead you through the 2006 IBC seismic requirements.  Some of the notes of their classes are much more detailed on how to do the calculations.  If you contact them I am sure they have what you want.
