FSUM vs SMISC

FSUM vs SMISC

(OP)
I was wondering if anyone had issues or success using FSUM to extract results for a transient analysis.  I applied a displacement time history to the base of my 2D model, and have been trying to get the shear and moment at different locations along the length using the FSUM command.  I was able to do this with a static pseudo acceleration analysis, and with a response spectrum analysis, but am having difficulty with the transient results.  They are not correlating with the SMISC values of the BEAM188.  My reason for trying to get this algorithm to work, because I am thinking it will be easier to get the forces for a 3D model of the same structure using that command.  Has anyone had similar issues or suggestions?

Thanks
