(OP)
Dear Engineer:

Would someone help me in solving the number of TEG absorber number of trays?!! The available equilibrium data for Natural gas -water -TEG system from M.S.Worley are in the table below :

TEG concentration     Lb H2O/Lb TEG           Equilibrium
  (% w/w  )                                   water content
                                               lb H2O/mmscf
 99                        0.0101               1.24
 98                        0.0204               2.5
 97                        0.0309               3.88
 96                        0.0417               5.25
 95                        0.0526               6.7
 90                        0.1111               13.33

I have an absorber of 71 bar and 40% tray efficiency.

I'm struggling on how to plot the above data to count for number of absorber trays???

RE: TEG absorber stages

If you can't solve your string of TEG question by buying a GPSA handbook of google McCabe-Thiele
