Creating a Tapered Thread (Solid 3d model)

Creating a Tapered Thread (Solid 3d model)

(OP)
Okay, a while back I asked about how to create a thread (or spring) helical pattern in CAE.  Duh, of course the answer was to specify a pitch when rotating a sketch to create a solid.

Now to the next level, I want to create a small section of tapered thread.  This means that I have to model a helical pattern of a specified pitch that changes diamater as it revolves.  Is this even possible in ABAQUS CAE?

Thanks in advance.
