Sectioning a Part

Sectioning a Part

Sectioning a Part

(OP)
When I section an End View from TDC to 4 oclock say, I get a Solid Horizontal Line across my section view where a center line should be.
In the SE v11 User Guide pg 374 the example shows what I want to do but this has a end view like I want and expected.

If I section from TDC to BDC its OK - I can then "Draw in View" and put a centerline in

Any suggestions
TIA

RE: Sectioning a Part

I don't know if this is the "right" way to solve this, but it is the only way I know how.

When you go to draw in view of the section you created you should have a toolbar button called hide edges.  I click this then select the line I want to get rid of.  I then return to draft and place the center line.

I have had to on occasion re-hatch in view after removing a line, but that was the only problem I had.
