I have a large assembly, and I have one component that I changed, but did not save.  I want to revert to the version on disk, but I don't want to close the large assembly.  (I have other changes that are not saved, but if I save them I will overwrite the changed component).

Any way to revert to the saved version?

Thanks

RE: Replace part in memory with one from disk

1. Open the component in its own window
2. File->Reload

-handleman, CSWP (The new, easy test)

Yeah, that's a situation where the answer is obvious, but unless you know the terminology, Help is not going to point you to it.

Thanks

RE: Replace part in memory with one from disk

To prevent reloading all the components of a large assy, you can RMB click on just the component(s) to be reloaded and select Reload.

cheers
