Mass damper for more grip

Mass damper for more grip

Mass damper for more grip

(OP)
Does anyone have experience by using a tuned mass-damper on each hub or elsewhere in the suspension system (like in the old 2CV)? I'm looking to improve mechanical grip.

Our car is an open wheel used for autocross on dirt.

RE: Mass damper for more grip

There's a strong suspicion that the Renault F1 mass damper was effectively used to improve grip, but those who know aren't telling.

I'm not really sure that the 2CV gained so much /grip/ by using inertial termination for its shock aborbers. I think they gained in ride comfort.
