The availability of crude oil as fuel material for process heater

The availability of crude oil as fuel material for process heater

(OP)
Hi guys,

I really need help here as I need to find a vendor or technology that offers a process heater equipment that runs on crude oil as the fuel (and in my case its heavy oil with API density of around 13 to 16 deg. API).

I have tried searching it in the internet but perhaps it must be my searching skill that cause me unfortunate result - so far no vendor that can offer such products. But i might be wrong.

Rgds,
Reisz

RE: The availability of crude oil as fuel material for process heater

Marine steam boilers have been operating on crude oil for many years. Of course the oil is heated, filtered and atomised via burner jets. Howden are one of the companies that specialised in the system, there are many others.
