Pack-&-Go Equation Problem

Pack-&-Go Equation Problem

Pack-&-Go Equation Problem

(OP)
I have an assembly that I use as a template to create other similar assemblies, I use Pack-&-Go to create the files for the new assembly and I usually add a suffix with the length and height information.

i.e. SP-001-FLOOR PAN-6500 x 1170

I encounter a problem when opening up the new assembly because the name of each file has changed but the equations have not updated to suit. A box did open that asked me if i wanted to update the equations, to which i clicked 'Yes', so I am confused...unless I misread to box.

When this happens it means that I have to manually edit each equation so that my assembly works again.

Does anybody know a way around this?  I have to rename each file because they go into a CAM program afterwards which requires unique filenames.

RE: Pack-&-Go Equation Problem

Which SW version and SP.

Some previous versions did not automatically update. I don't remember when it was added.

cheers
